Organisational support

The Vision for Young Londoners is endorsed by a range of organisations across London that worth with, or work for young people. It is shaped by their participation, input, good practice, and their support. Supporting organisations include funders, local authorities, youth work practitioners, play providers, formal education providers, arts and sports organisations, the wider voluntary sector, and housing providers.

Conceived in 2015 by Partnership for Young London, London Youth, and London Funders, the Vision for Young Londoners has support from large nationwide organisations such as The Prince’s Trust and The National Union of Students, to smaller organisations like Bite the Ballot.

London Councillors supporting the Vision

Support from London’s Councillors

The Vision for Young Londoners is also supported by local Councillors from 17 different boroughs across London. Their support is very important to us, as their participation is vital in the dialogue between policy makers and providers across the capital.

The context for local leaders is one of increasing difficulty, trying to meet increasing needs with a decreased budget – as such it is critical to share good practice, talk about emerging models of work, and innovative approaches to tackle problems. As such we also have the support of five local local authorities: Barking & Dagenham, Bromley, Hackney, Islington, Lambeth, and Merton.
